All news sites have an agenda whether they admit it or not. We admit we have two agendas, love of God and love of Ireland. That agenda is to put love of  God and love of Ireland back at the centre of everything.

Agenda 1 - Love of God 

As the Catechism states - 

CCC 27 - The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for:

The dignity of man rests above all on the fact that he is called to communion with God. This invitation to converse with God is addressed to man as soon as he comes into being. For if man exists it is because God has created him through love, and through love continues to hold him in existence. He cannot live fully according to truth unless he freely acknowledges that love and entrusts himself to his creator.

Agenda 2 - Love of Ireland

If we love God, then it follows that we, as Irish people, have a duty to love Ireland. If you love God, you will obey His Commandments (John 14:15). Love of your country falls under the fourth Commandment. As the Catechism states CCC 2239 - It is the duty of citizens to contribute along with the civil authorities to the good of society in a spirit of truth, justice, solidarity, and freedom. the love and service of one's country follow from the duty of gratitude and belong to the order of charity.

 

People are tired of the constant barrage of news which offers no new hope or solutions. Lets face it, most news is bad and most news commentary in Ireland is void of any deep thinking. Most news stations are just gossip forums offering little to no solutions. The solution to all of the world's problems is God. In light of that, we will aim to try include God in most  of our news articles or hopefully draw our news readers to look deeper into our site and online bookstore which will provide books on  the Catholic faith and history. Our online store also stocks various other items. We are not in it for profit. Our goal is the Glory of God. As time goes on, we hope to reduce the cost of our books and we also hope to expand our free book section.
